Display Back Options |
|
Plaque Fabric Back
Commonly referred to as loop fabric, Waddell’s
Plaque Fabric Back is designed to work with hook component
of Velcro that will allow for the easy mounting of plaque
awards, photos, and certificates. The 100% nylon fabric
with polyester foam core and nylon jersey backing is
available in an off-white Oyster color for all Waddell
cases featuring the Plaque Fabric option except for the
Prominence cases, which utilizes light gray Platinum
color. |

White or Black Laminate Back
Constructed of melamine laminate bonded to a MDF substrate,
Waddell’s Laminate Back is a highly visible,
uncluttered backdrop. The Laminate back panel is offered
in Bright White or Black. The low maintenance Laminate
Back is washable, colorfast, and stain resistant. |
|
Mirror Back
For added luster, many Waddell display cases are offered
with a reflective Mirror back panel. The Mirror panel
is backed with ANSI safety tape for added support and
safety. Mirror back panels meet or exceed the lower
requirements of ANSI SPEC Z97.1. |
|
Cork Back
Cork back panel from Waddell is made of natural cork.
Its fine-grain appearance creates a traditional look.
The tackable panel will withstand repeated puncture
marks from thumbtacks and pins without marring the
surface.
The cork back is available in four colors.
The color shown is Naturual Oak.. if you would like
to have samples sent of all four, please let us know
and we'll send them right out! |

Lighting Options |
|
Lighting can be an important factor
in effectively displaying your most valued items of pride
and achievement. Many Waddell display cases come with
optional lighting capability. Check the product listing
to determine if lighting is available on your preferred
display case.
The following types of lighting are used on the product
series indicated:
Halogen Spotlights
Halogen Spotlights are commonly referred to as “Puck
Lights” due to their cylinder shape that closely
resembles a hockey puck. The 120-volt lights offer a
sleek; low profile that provides a targeted lighting
option. The Halogen lights provide a high degree of color
rendering to better showcase the true colors of your
display. These 2-3/8" diameter lights will typically
last for over 2,500 hours of usage. Halogen Spotlights
utilize a grounded plug and feature an in-line on/off
switch.
Halogen Spotlights are used on the following Waddell
cases:

Prominence Series
Prominence Spotlight Series
Quantum Series
Varsity Series
Fluorescent Lighting
Traditional fluorescent lights are an energy-efficient
choice, giving out the most light per wattage. The 120-volt
lights provide an equal overall lighting coverage. Fluorescent
lights will typically last for over 10,000 hours of usage.
The fluorescent lights utilize a 3-prong grounded plug
and feature a top-mounted on/off switch. Fluorescent
bulbs not included.
Fluorescent lighting is available for the following Waddell
cases:

Harbor Series
Heritage Series
Merchandiser Series
Reliant Series
Replacement Lighting
Depending on usage; bulbs may occasionally need to be
replaced and are therefore not included under warranty.
Both Halogen and Fluorescent bulbs are readily available
at most hardware, home center, or electrical supply locations. |
